Chapter 149 Union and Plato
Chapter 149 Union and Plato
When Yu Heng woke up the next morning, it was already broad daylight.
He glanced at his phone; it was 7:30.
Shen Yueling was still asleep next to her, her face buried in the blanket, with only half of the back of her head showing.
Bai Xinran lay on her side on the other side, with her back to him, revealing a small part of her smooth shoulder.
Yu Heng got up quietly, his back a little sore; he had indeed stayed up quite late last night.
He got out of bed, picked up his pajamas from the floor, put them on, went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face, and splashed a handful of cold water on his face.
When they came out, Shen Yueling was also awake, rubbing her eyes as she sat up.
"Did I wake you up?" Yu Heng asked.
"No, I woke up on my own." Shen Yueling's voice was still hoarse from just waking up. "Are you going to class?"
"Hmm." Yu Heng walked to the wardrobe and rummaged through his clothes. "I have a professional class this morning."
Bai Xinran stirred, turned over, and opened her eyes a crack: "Are you leaving?"
"Why don't you sleep a little longer?" Yu Heng said. "If you don't have class, you can lie down a bit more."
He put on jeans and a hoodie, grabbed his backpack, and walked out.
"What about breakfast?" Shen Yueling asked.
"Buy something at the school gate," Yu Heng waved his hand, "You guys eat it yourselves."
It was almost eight o'clock when I went out.
The first period is a professional course, which cannot be skipped, but being a little late is fine.
As he approached the teaching building, he spotted two familiar figures in the distance: Hao Junran and Wang Shuo.
They walked side by side, quite close to each other.
Hao Junran was carrying a pink thermos, which clearly wasn't his own.
Wang Shuo had his head down, his ears were a little red, and Hao Junran was talking to him with her head turned to the side.
After saying something, Wang Shuo raised his hand and punched him, but Hao Junran laughed and dodged it.
Yu Heng narrowed his eyes and walked towards them.
Hao Junran saw him first and waved: "Yu Heng!"
Wang Shuo also looked up, and Yu Heng walked up to them, his gaze sweeping back and forth between the two.
Hao Junran was still carrying the thermos, and Wang Shuo's hand had somehow become attached to Hao Junran's arm.
"The two of you?" Yu Heng asked, his voice tinged with amusement.
"We're together now," Hao Junran said with a smile, her tone quite frank.
Wang Shuo lowered his head and added in a low voice, "It was...it happened a couple of days ago."
Yu Heng raised an eyebrow and looked at them.
I clicked my tongue in approval; it actually worked.
"Alright, alright," Yu Heng nodded, a smile playing on his lips, "True love prevails in the end."
He meant it sincerely.
Wang Shuo looked up, his eyes brightening: "Don't you think...it's strange?"
"What's so strange?" Yu Heng said. "What's wrong with two men? Plato is about love between two men. You two should be careful, the road ahead is long and arduous."
Yu Heng and the two of them walked side by side toward the teaching building, the fallen leaves under their feet crunching underfoot.
"Does your sister know?" Yu Heng asked Wang Shuo, turning his head to the side.
"My sister?" Wang Shuo paused for a moment, then shook his head. "I don't know... I didn't tell her."
Hao Junran picked up the conversation, shaking the pink thermos in her hand: "Right now, you're the only one who knows."
Yu Heng glanced at Wang Shuo: "You haven't come out to your family?"
"No," Wang Shuo said in a lower voice, kicking a pebble away. "How could I dare?"
"Where's your sister?" Yu Heng asked again.
"My sister?" Wang Shuo looked up, a little confused. "What happened to my sister?"
Yu Heng narrowed his eyes.
He meant to ask Meng Shirui if she had come out to her family that she was a lesbian.
Judging from Wang Shuo's reaction, it seems he doesn't.
These two sisters are still in the early stages.
"It's nothing," Yu Heng smiled. "I just asked casually."
However, I'm usually quite busy. Although we're in the same class, I haven't really run into Meng Shirui much since that basketball training session.
Did she contact Shen Yueling privately?
Yu Heng grinned. He had completely forgotten about it. Shen Yueling hadn't mentioned it to him either. He'd ask her later.
"By the way," Yu Heng stopped at the top of the stairs, "you two...how far have you gotten?"
Wang Shuo's face flushed red.
Hao Junran, on the other hand, was quite frank, grinning and saying, "Guess?"
"What nonsense am I guessing?" Yu Heng lifted his foot and walked upstairs. "Anyway, you two can do whatever you want, but no one will die."
"Get lost," Hao Junran said with a laugh.
Wang Shuo lowered his head even further, and the back of his neck was covered in red.
Yu Heng understood the situation; judging from Wang Shuo's reaction, he figured he had already done what needed to be done.
Hao Junran, that kid, accepted it pretty quickly, and he's quite fast too.
However, to be fair, Wang Shuo looks absolutely effeminate in women's clothing, so it's normal that people accept it quickly.
-
In the classroom, everyone was drowsy.
Yu Heng didn't hold out for long and decisively went to sleep.
After class, he took out his phone and made a WeChat call to He Mengyao.
"Feed?" He Mengyao's voice came from the other end of the line. The background noise was a bit noisy, with girls laughing and music playing.
"What are you doing?" Yu Heng leaned against the corridor window.
"Where's the dorm? What's wrong?" He Mengyao paused, a hint of teasing in her voice. "Is your new love not exciting anymore, and you're thinking about your old flame?"
Yu Heng heard a girl on the other end of the phone quietly ask who it was, and He Mengyao replied that it was no one.
"I didn't call to argue with you," Yu Heng said.
"Say it quickly if you have something to say." He Mengyao's tone was curt.
"I have a club here, and I've been making short videos for them recently."
"So?" He Mengyao asked.
"Could you teach them to dance for me?" Yu Heng asked directly. "Teach them the basics, or teach them some of the more popular dances that will be popular in the future."
He Mengyao laughed and said, "No time! My time is very precious right now! I'm practicing and rehearsing for shows every day, I'm exhausted like a dog, why should I help you?"
"I'm not going to take advantage of you for free," Yu Heng said. "I'll pay you, okay?"
"I'm not short of money," He Mengyao said with a smile. "You can hire a teacher outside; there are plenty of dance training classes."
Yu Heng clicked his tongue: "Then how could you possibly agree?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone; she seemed to have moved to a different location, and the background noise became quieter.
"Please beg me." He Mengyao's voice suddenly lowered, carrying an ambiguous meaning. "Please beg me, and I'll agree."
Yu Heng was stunned for a moment.
"How do I ask?" Yu Heng's voice also lowered.
"Think for yourself," He Mengyao said. "You need to be sincere in your attitude and earnest in your tone."
This tone... she sometimes acted like this in her past life, usually in bed, when asked to scratch her back or massage her waist, she would act coy like this.
Yu Heng licked his slightly dry lips. Almost all the students in the corridor had left, leaving him alone.
"He Mengyao," Yu Heng smiled, "I'll count to three, if you don't agree, I'll really find someone else."
In the past, he would usually cooperate and say, "Please, wife, you're so good to me," but now he doesn't want to do that anymore.
He just wanted to find an excuse to get closer to He Mengyao. It would be better if they could become lovers, but if not, they could still be friends.
She was also reborn. In terms of career, it's much better for the two of them to cooperate and achieve a win-win situation than for her to struggle alone.
