"Excuse me for a moment," Yu Tong said to the Cui family as she walked over to where Murong Si was at the moment. She couldn't believe that this mer was keeping such a close eye on their family! The second he came to find out that Yu Dong and Shen Li had become parents, he came crawling here.

'Humph, I guess that he understood that act of him being not interested in me was not working and came to beg me. But I will not let him off so easily! "What are you doing stopping me like this?" Murong Si asked before Yu Tong could begin her interrogation. She looked at him with a shocked look on her face as she could not believe that Murong Si was the one who was questioning her!

It should be her who should be asking what he was doing here in this village instead of him asking her what she was doing by making him stop suddenly. "Humph, do you think that I wanted to come here to stop you?" Yu Tong asked with an annoyed expression on her face. She said to him, "I just came to ask you why are you here again. If someone sees you they will think that we are having some lovers meeting before marriage."

"It will cause all sorts of rumours to fly you know?"

Murong Si felt as if he was getting married to an idiot. So just because he came to the village, he was here to see her? And that would lead to multiple rumours?

"Then you might need to know that people are looking at us because you came to look for me," remarked Murong Si with a blank expression causing Yu Tong to flinch as she looked around the village and sure enough the villagers were looking at them.

She hurriedly stepped back before turning to look at Murong Si. She asked him, "Was this your plan? Is this what you were trying to do?"

Murong Si was speechless. He snorted and then sneered, "Sure, it was I who planned everything. I was the one who made you come looking for and even stop me when all I wanted was to meet your sister."

Which mer would tell their soon-to-be wife that they had no interest in her?

He was asking to be ignored!

"Tong Tong," Song Yixu who walked over to where Yu Tong was, patted Yu Tong on the shoulder. She smiled at her sympathetically and said, "It is alright. Sha Sha had her fair share of troubles with a hot-headed mer, maybe you can talk with her. Not that she would be much of help."

Yu Tong: "..." Why will I need to talk with her? I have no interest in that mer!

"You have got it all wrong," Yu Tong said to Song Yixu wanting to explain that she had no interest in that mer. But the latter did not seem to be listening, Song Yixu continued to smile at her as she said, "Sha Sha used to say the same thing."

Murong Si on the other hand did not have any idea that Yu Tong was now in a difficult situation because of the quarrel that they just had, however, even if he did know Murong Si would not have cared.

He strolled past the village paths, allowing the warm breeze to caress his cheeks and hair. He raised his hand and then neatly brushed his fingers through his fluttering hair.

"Ah Master Murong, what are you doing here?"
