Chapter 1365 Taking any job possible

Shen Li knew that Murong Si and Yu Dong had a deal that needed to be finalized. Thus, he had an idea why Murong Si came to the village without knowing that he had given birth.

"I am indeed here to talk with Madam Yu about something," Murong Si answered with a small smile on his face. He needed to ask her if she could give him a job, he would rather work in the fields all day than stay under the same roof as Murong Tai.

Upon hearing his response, Chen Mi said to him, "Wife is in her office. She is preparing for a grand celebration of the birth of the two heirs. Shall I take you there?" He asked with a tilt of his head.

"Then I will thank you," Murong Si nodded as he waited for Chen Mi to stand up. As Chen Mi stood on his feet, the two of them made their way out of the room, however as they were walking outside, Murong Si's gaze fell on Li Hanjing and he bowed his head in greeting before leaving the room.

Once he was gone, Xiao Hua pursed his lips and remarked, "He is quite a wise mer." Though he could have ignored Li Hanjing, Murong Si chose to greet him. However, he did not use words, as it could direct Yu Tong's anger towards him as she was already suspicious of him.

"It only proves that you will have a peaceful life after marrying Sister Tong, Brother Hanjing," Xiao Zimo said to Li Hanjing whose face turned as red as a cooked lobster. "If he is smart then he will know that fighting with you will lead him nowhere."

Li Hanjing glared at him and remarked, "There is no need for you to say so much. No one would think you are a mute if you stay quiet."

"What? Are you shy?"

His only response was a smack from Lin Hanjing and the room was filled with laughter.

While Murong Si and Chen Mi on the other hand walked over to Yu Dong's office.

Her attention was diverted by Murong Si who stood behind Chen Mi, she blinked her eyes and then asked, "Master Murong, is there something that you want to tell me?" Her smile was welcoming and sweet which made Murong Si heave a sigh of relief. After meeting with the rude as-heck Yu Tong, her cousin was like a breath of fresh air.

He looked at Yu Dong and smiled at her with a flattering expression, "I just wanted to ask you if there is a job that you can give to me. I am willing to do anything... even if it means cleaning the horses or picking up the waste of the animals in the butcher house."

Murong Si would rather pick up animal sh*t than live with the human sh*t.

Yu Dong was quite surprised by his sudden request. She thought that he would ask her about the deal that he offered her but she never expected him to ask about a job. Her eyes stared at the mer in front of her carefully and even though Murong Si acted as if nothing was wrong, she could notice a hint of panic on his face. He seemed to be a bit nervous and terrified at the notion of getting refused.

'Is he alright?' Yu Dong couldn't help but question in her head. The last time Murong Si came to look for her, he had the same desperation on his face. She wanted to question him but when she thought about their relationship, Yu Dong was worried about stepping over the line. She hesitated a while before saying, "There is a job in the livestock farm.

One that pays decently and you only need to feed the animals but it might be a bit difficult for you. Since it smells too much."

"I will take it. I am willing to work in the livestock farm!"
