Chapter 1367 Who dares to make trouble

Outside the village, a bunch of people with ragged clothes and eyes that were bloodshot were standing. They were looking at the large gates while banging their hands and feet on the surface of the doors.

"Leader, are you sure that there is food and water in this village?" One of the women said to the woman who stood behind the crowd. They have been banging on the door for a long time but the people of this village did not open the doors.

The leader was a ferocious woman. She stood at the end of the group and nodded. She said to them, "Did you not hear what those people said in the town? This is the village where the owner of the mall lives. If we can take over this village then we might be able to not only get food and water, we might even snatch that mall from her."

At the town, an old doctor told them the owner of the mall was from Big River Village and she was the one who was providing the food and water to the commoners.

The leader of these women thought that it was too much of a waste as Yu Dong was providing food and water to the commoners for free and at a price that was too cheap, if she were in her place then she would have sold those things in gold taels.

This was how a sinister scheme came to her head and the leader came up with the plan to chase the villagers out of the village and take over this fertile land. She then looked at the rest of the women and stated coldly, "If we can snatch this villae from them, we no longer have to wander around like rogues."

"This is good, Leader. If we can grab this village, we will be able to survive."

The people in the group cheered and their eyes lit up when they heard that they would be able to eat and drink their fill. After being left hungry for so long and coming here, they had finally found a place to settle down.

The Leader asked them to continue knocking on the doors, she did not believe that they would not open the doors. Sooner or later they would have to open them! They had the time to wait around anyway!

Inside the doors, the guards were thankful to Yu Dong. The last time when they saw Yu Dong building a fence and doors they thought that she was being too cautious. But now they were thankful that she had built this fence and gate. At least no one would barge inside the village as they liked.

"What the hell do you think you are doing!?" Yi Jing shouted as she climbed the tower and looked at the rogues who were attacking their gates.

She turned to look at the villagers and said to them, "They are attacking our village!"

No sooner did she scream, than the people on the inside of the village panicked. They rushed to their farms and then brought out cow dung, which was rolled and then thrown at the rogues outside. No matter what they were going to protect their village!

The leader was even more infuriated when she saw that the villagers were refusing to open the door. She turned to look at her underlings and said to them, "Break it open for me! I want to see who are these daring people who dared to act so boldly!"
