Yu Dong’s eyes lit up as she smiled at Chen Mi and agreed, "Of course, I only need you to help me wash off the mud and nothing else."

Chen Mi knew that his wife had not given up and eyed her warily before he turned to pick up the ladle and just as he turned around Yu Dong sat inside the tub.

The sound of water splashing all over the floor echoed in the bathing room and Chen Mi had to suppress the heat in his lower abdomen when he turned around and saw the slender and muscular back of his wife.

Chen Mi heaved a sigh as he walked over to the tub and then scooped some hot water to wash the mud off Yu Dong’s neck. He also started washing her hair as the bad smell seemed to have settled itself in her hair.

His actions were rather meticulous as he washed her hair. After ensuring that the mud had been washed off, along with the bad smell, he picked up a piece of cloth and tied Yu Dong’s hair up.

Yu Dong leaned back against the tub and closed her eyes as she enjoyed Chen Mi rubbing his fingers on the mud that had dried off.

"Ah Mi, you need to wash the front more than my shoulders," Yu Dong opened her eyes and looked at the mer who was massaging her shoulders in an attempt to avoid washing her front. "That’s where I got hit."

Chen Mi’s eyes darkened as he picked up the soap that Yu Dong had made and rubbed it with his hands.

Chen Mi chanted this in his head again and again, however just as he reached forward to wash the specks of mud on Yu Dong’s front, his wrist was caught and he was dragged inside the tub.

"Wife! You——-" Chen Mi’s face turned red up to his neck. He knew it! This woman would not sit still!

"What’s wrong?" Yu Dong held his hands and pressed them on her bosom. She leaned forward and kissed Chen Mi on his neck before saying, "I am only helping you to clean me sooner. Isn’t it hard to do it while standing behind me?"

"Get lost! Do you think that your stupid ideas can work in this shop?" A loud voice echoed in an old shop.

A woman who was still wearing an apron was thrown out of the shop. She stumbled and fell on the ground while looking at the elderly woman who had pushed her out of the shop.

"I am only trying to save this shop, mother-in-law!" The woman exclaimed. She was not happy with how she was thrown out of the shop like a servant. Even if she was a woman who was purchased as a live-in daughter in law——-
